Comic Project for Angouleme

As some of you may know, I am currently finisihing a comic book project to present to an editor at the Festival Internacional de Bande Dessinee that's going to happen in Angouleme, France from 27-31 JAN(http://www.bdangouleme.com/). It is the most prestigious european comic festival in the world and I'll hope that I can show the value of my work, and with luck, get it published.
Here's a sort of preview of one of the main characters in watercolor as I can't reveal more for the moment:P

2ND NATIONAL PRIZE "European Union and Citizenship" Comic Competition

This is the work which granted me the 2ND NATIONAL PRIZE in the Comic Competition "European Union and Citizenship" promoted by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Justice, Freedom and Security, and coordinated in Portugal by Oikos - Cooperação e Desenvolvimento.

The competition, promoted by the European Union, was destinated to any resident in the EU more than 16 years old, whatever his nationality. The main purpouse was to create a comic strip/illustration in a single page, without text, that could ilustrate the concept of citizenship within the EU.

"CREACOMIC" CAM COMPETITION - 3rd PRIZE

This work, in co-authorship with Catarina Alves, has been granted the 3RD PRIZE in the subject of Solidarity in the Comic Creators competition, organized by Caixa Mediterráneo, in order to promote its social efforts in the area of immigration. Its public presentation has been made in the 26th edition of the Intrenational Comic Convention of Barcelona (2008).
