This competition was organized by the Plataforma Unitària Contra les Violències de Gènere of Barcelona, in order to make the new and the old aware of the problem of violence toward women, social prejudice and its consequences, promoting a more equality living between people.
Sadly I didn't manage to get any prize, but the intention stays on.

Gender violence has caused in 2010 the deaths of 73 women in Spain only (Ministerio de Solidariedad, Politica Social y Igualdad), a situation that repeats in many other countries in different situations.
In a society evolving in an ever faster rhythm, stale mentalities and socially defined gender parts are responsible for the overlook and perpetuation of the problem that affects thousands of women every day.

By educating ourselves, we can contribute for a small change for a better life.

GRUPO DESPORTIVO A MOURARIA

Running for a couple of hours there will be plenty of music, theatre, poetry and dance numbers alongside with the art exibition the next room. The price is 5 eur but the drinks are cheap.

Na semana passada assisti por primeria vez à Tertúlia de BD de Lisboa, oragnizada há 25 anos (!!!!!) pelo senhor Geraldes Lino no café Gina no Parque Mayer, na primeira terça feira de cada mês. Pelo meio de boa conversa e comida rabiscaram-se desenhos na toalha de mesa que mais tarde encontraram divulgação no blog "divulgando BD" do Sr. Lino, bastante interessante para quem se interessa por BD nacional. FINAL PROJECT : CICE Madrid, Curso Oficial de Modelado de Proyectos Arquitectonicos

In September, after a 5-month course and a 5-month work, I finnaly finished the Final Project for the Curso Oficial de Modelado de Proyectos Arquitectónicos con 3D Studio Max 2010 y Vray done in CICE - Escuela Superior de Nuevas Tecnologias (http://www.cice.es/), in Madrid.
Based on a housing project by Pb Alemental Architects, 12th and John House, I had to use every technique learnt during the course from complex Edit-Poly modeling and realistic mapped texturing, to VRay Light and VRay Sun illumination all along to the final renders, animation and video with Premiere.

The idea of the project was the realistic simulation of four spaces (exterior, living room, bed room and bathroom) at various times of day (midday, afternoon and night) with the technical requirements needed for each case.

For the first time I'm showing the comic album project "La Bibliotheque de Babel" I developed this year for ESDIP (Escuela Superior de Dibujo Profesional, Madrid) and presented at the Festival Intrenacional de Bande Dessinee de Angouleme. Here you have the cover and the first of twelve pages. I can't show more since I'm expecting to develop and eventualy publish it. Still, I'm really proud of the results!

It's an article illustration concerning the ACTA negotiations over the control of file sharing on the Internet and the delegation of the application of the law to corporations and not by the state.

It came out in Periodico Diagonal, Madrid n. 131 (22 Jul to 1 Set 2010), distribution: 15.000 papers in various selling places.
